How many of your staff are carers as well?

Carers provide unpaid care and support to family members and friends who have a disability, mental illness, addiction, chronic condition, terminal illness or who are frail.

More than one in eight Australians provide care of this kind. Carers are often unrecognised for the amount of work and support they provide.

Many carers are young people - a special young carers support service is available. Freecall 1800 242 636.

Critical Incidents - Commonly used Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD) and Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) strategies have come under considerable academic and industry scrutiny in recent times. We take the view that best practice is very closely aligned with duty of care and conventional rehabilitation.
